Abolish The Objectionable Consequences Of Trimming Down

February 19th, 2010

Summer is near and you mean to shed those extra pounds. You take a chance on the newest diet and you really do do away with those revolting, unhealthy pounds. You feel great. In the mirror you look great.

Fast-forward six months. The mirror has ceased being your friend. Every single one of those pounds have crept back onto to your hips and all around your waist. What is up with that?

It’s the exact same point that goes wrong with a lot of dieting Americans every year. You didn’t stand by that diet plan. You ate out and ate huge dinners; you helped yourself to those convenient fast foods; you came across a new chocolatier. In other words, you did what most people do?you took pleasure in the wealth of food choices that are immediately available. You drifted into your previous eating habits.

Why did this come to pass? The response is plain; you didn’t take pleasure in feeling famished incessantly.

It’s incredibly discouraging to take off the same ten, twenty, or thirty pounds every year?so discouraging that a lot of us throw in the towel. But hang on! Rather than cover up all the mirrors and discard the bathroom scale, give yourself an additional chance. There is a way to defeat this cycle, and it doesn’t require having nothing to eat, calorie counters, or life without chocolate. It does involve adjusting the way you think about eating.

Is it difficult?

Yes, at first, it is. You are going to break long-standing habits.

Is it unattainable?

No, it isn’t.

Is it worthwhile?

You bet.

Okay. What do I have to do?

Make flavor your chief priority.

Start off in quest of the ‘ah’ factor in what you eat. The ‘ah’ factor takes place in that first piece of seasonally fresh fruit or perfectly prepared meat or vegetable. Your taste buds sing, you sit back, slow down and value the flavors. Recall how Grandma continually said to chew your food a hundred times? She had the right thought. By eating slowly you will eat less. And if you’re sensing the ‘ah’ factor, you’ll long to eat slowly to stretch out the pleasure.

Revise the method in which you shop at your super market. Stroll the edge of the store. That’s where the fresh vegetables, meat, and dairy are located. Steer clear of the aisles where the processed food is shelved. Keep in mind, you are on the look out for food that explodes with flavor in your mouth, and that type of food doesn’t come from a can or a box. Your goal is to eat less food while remaining satiated. If you eat food that has been popped, toasted or reconstituted you’re more likely to go to the closest bakery right after lunch since your body is sending your brain the ‘I-need-more’ message.

Every time you shop, be certain to include delicious handy snack items on your list. You can pack apples, nuts, and celery into a bag and take them with you in the car, so when you feel hungry you can munch. If you eat small pieces of fruit, nuts or vegetables roughly every three hours, your blood sugar level remains up and the hunger message to your brain stops. You’ll be able to go right past that fast food drive-thru.

If you have a farmer’s market close to you, buy your produce there. The fruit and vegetables have been collected recently and trucked from close-by farms. Because they are vine ripened and freshly harvested, they are bursting with flavor?just what you want.

Every time you go out to dinner, scrutinize the appetizer menu. Restaurants are starting to recognize that not every person wants those generous entrees for their nighttime meal, and chefs are growing their small portion alternatives. These particular morsels, accompanied by a fresh salad, are not only filling, they taste wonderful.

Permanent weight loss is not easy, but it is achieveable. By placing flavor at the top of your list when you shop or eat out, you’ll be fulfilled with a smaller amount of calories, never have to consider covering those mirrors again, and be able to indulge in a piece of chocolate from time to time – guilt-free.

Why Not Try The Fast Diets For Better Health.

January 16th, 2010

Anything out of control can be a problem. And when our diet is out of control we are in trouble. This is why fast diets are a good idea for some people. Food is good let us say that right off. But when you start living to eat then you are living backwards. Fasting does involve abstaining from food but it does not mean starving. And a fast diet can mean simply fasting from a particular food and not all food. Or if could mean consuming only water and no food for a specific amount of time.

Fasting humbles the soul; it denies and masters the appetite. More doctors are beginning to recognize the value of fasting. I went to a doctor because I had an annoying allergy. I said, doctor I have this sinus difficulty. He looked at me and the first thing he asked me was have you tried fasting. Have I what I sputtered. Come on do you not have a pill or something that can clear it up?

Well I tried his suggestion. And through fasting and proper nutrition the allergies that plagued me for two decades were wiped out. It is great to enter the summer and fall seasons without sneezing wheezing and itching. I recommend that before you go on a prolonged fast that you visit your family doctor.

You might have a medical situation that has to be checked out before any prolonged fast. We do dumb things to our bodies. We drink caffeine; smoke tobacco; and eat chocolate. When you fast you give your body the chance to get rid of the poisons, the toxins you have subjected it to.

Preservatives, additives, and all kinds of toxins could be in your liver right now, just waiting to disease you. After fasting for only 12 hours toxins will begin to leave your system. We all have a unique built in repair system.

Let me prepare you for what you will experience with your fast. You will get a terrible taste in your mouth and your tongue will be coated. That is the evidence of the toxins leaving your body. When you eat three meals a day your body cannot rid the toxins because it is too busy trying to digest the last meal.

Make sure to have a breath spray handy when you start your fast. A person I know fasts every Monday. And those who fast once for twice a week have healthy beautiful complexions. And if you suffer from anemia or if you are underweight fasting can actually, believe it or not, help you gain weight. And if you have a few extra pounds fasting can help you also.

Fast diets are not about starvation. Starvation is about dying. Fasting is about living healthier. You cannot try to starve your way to better health. But you can use fasting to have a better healthier life if you fast for the right reasons and for the right amount of time. But remember fasting does not cure disease it merely allows your system to heal itself by riding itself of that which causes you misery. And remember to consult with your doctor before you undertake any fasting diet.

There are loads of people out there searching for a way to look good fast, they start searching for fast diets, and diets that work fast – there are tons online.

Six Things To Help You Lose More Arm Fat

January 2nd, 2010

So many women ignore the common knowledge of eating smaller meals consistently during the day and not starving oneself when learning how to lose arm fat. Why do they do this? Because deep down inside women want to believe that starvation and extreme dieting will produce faster results.

But the truth is that such guerilla dieting destroys the body’s metabolic mechanisms. In other words, it shuts down your body’s ability to burn off the arm flab. So here are 6 nutrition tips to follow so that your body (and mind) doesn’t shut down:

1. Forget about calories in versus calories out. In this day and age, everyone is busy and we don’t have all day to exercise. It’s not necessary to spend hours running and hours lifting weights every day to get rid of the arm jiggle. All that’s needed is a short workout that gets to the point in 45 minutes or less (note: you should be sweating and panting).

2. Don’t keep a journal of every piece of food you eat. You are not a machine, so please don’t act like one. Do this, and you’ll end up feeling like a slave. Eventually, you’ll reach a tipping point and throw in the flabby arms towel.

3. Balance your meals. No need to get crazy with your eating (please don’t take acai!). Your number one priority is to make sure your meals have a vegetable, fat, protein and carbohydrate item. Trust me, this is all you have to do.

4. Banish your calorie-counting tendencies. Even worse than your food journal, calorie-counting is another full time job. And the worst part is that it’s based on an obsolete closed thermodynamic model. A 3500 caloric deficit does NOT equal a pound of fat loss. Don’t become a machine when learning how to lose arm fat!

5. Don’t eliminate pleasure foods from your diet. The biggest negatives of pleasure foods are high caloric content and fast digestion. You can minimize both negatives by simply having a slightly smaller portion of the food and accompanying it with a serving of vegetables. The fibrous material of the vegetable will slow down the digestion of the pleasure food substantially and less calories (if any) will go to your arm fat.

6. Don’t have more than one serving of alcohol per day. Again, despite all the advice on this one, many of my female clients still drink way too much. Aside from a high caloric content, alcohol shuts down all your arm fat burning hormones. The good news is that the more you exercise, the less alcohol you need to achieve that “buzz” feeling.

Learning how to lose arm fat the right way should be a lot easier with my eat-right tips. Follow them, and the arm flab will come right off. It’s not as hard as you think.

And remember that trying to get everything perfect in one shot is unrealistic. You will fall off the wagon from time to time. Expect this, and always get back on track as soon as possible.

A few things can keep Mamas from losing the weight and in this article we are going to look over those as well as some solutions that will help with these troubles.

After Baby Weight Loss

#1. Eating Unhealthy

Yes, eating unhealthy may possibly affect anyone but there is a little bit of a differentiation when it comes to Mamas. We Moms have the little ones with their munchies and little meals to wipe up if they do not finish. We do not like to waste so I am certain you, not unlike myself have sometimes ate the rest of your child’s meal or snack.

Hit That Plateau In Your Quest To Lose Weight?

December 29th, 2009

Have you been steadily losing weight and then just short of your goal, nothing? Don’t worry, there are answers! Many people experience this same problem in their quest for their goal weight. There are many things you can do to get back on track.

First of all do not worry! Worry is no good to you spiritual health and it will not get the rest of the pounds off. One free, easy ways to get the furnace burning again is increase activity. This can be as simple as taking a walk around the block. Take the stairs instead of the elevator. Stop looking for the easiest way to do something. Expending a little energy is good for your body.

If you are feeling very motivated start weight training. You can start with small dumbbells. Start slow , try some bicep curls and shoulder presses to start. Muscles burns more calories than fat so the more you build the easier it will be to maintain weight loss.

Another very important tip, drink more water! If your body weight is 120 pounds you will want to drink 60 ounces of water, half your body weight in ounces. Without enough water the body systems can not function properly. Many times when we are thirsty the body thinks it is hungry. Be sure not to become dehydrated so you will not overeat because you mistake thirst for hunger.

This next tip is not without cost but it is worth any cost! Cleansing on a cellular level. No one can deny the fact that our bodies are bombarded by toxins on a daily basis. These toxins and other chemicals we are exposed to can impair our bodies functions. Also eating processed foods and fatty meats can clog the body up with fats and additives that the body has no use for. Cellular cleansing can rid the body of these toxins. We can get rid of these toxins through cleansing.

In an effort to protect the internal organs the body produces extra fat cells to wrap around these toxins. We know that extra fat is not helpful but the body does not, so by cleansing on a cellular level we can remove these fat cells.

Any one of these tips will help you lose weight. Drinking water is the number one item on the list for everyone even if you do not need to lose weight. Exercise is important to do at least twice a week, three times is even better. Take it slow and always consult your doctor first. When your doctor gives you the go ahead try the library for some free exercise videos.

It has been our experience that cellular cleansing can speed up weight loss.If you have any health problems or are unsure have your doctor monitor you while you cleanse. It is good to have your blood checked before you start cleansing and then six months later. I am sure you will be shocked! Remember to be gentle with yourself. You are beautiful just the way you are. Honor your body and spirit on a daily basis!
