How To Effortlessly Slip Exercises To Lose Weight Into Your Daily Routine

November 5th, 2009

There has been a incredible amount of advances in recent years as far as technology, communication, and other useful inventions. One big draw back of all these wonderful things that make our lives easier, is that we are getting fatter and fatter.

If you look back into history a couple of generations, most people weren’t fat. Most people were healthy, and thin. According to many experts, the main reason for this is that people living today simply do not exercise nearly as much as people did before.

The reason for this is that most people back in those days had to work really hard at their jobs. Only the ultra rich could afford to sit at a desk the whole day. People got so much exercise before, not because they wanted to, but because they had to.

Today, however, times have changed. Don’t get me wrong, we are much better of in many ways than before. Our life expectancy has skyrocketed. Our standard of living has gone up immeasurably. One thing that is lacking, however, is exercise that we previously got naturally.

The simple fix for this is to figure out a way to get some exercise on a regular basis. Any kind that you can slip in without too much extra time is fantastic.

Many people are happy to realize that just a few (in some cases only three or four) minutes a day can be plenty. This will get you started on a program that can dramatically improve your life.

What are some good exercises to do? Anything that works your large muscle groups is good. Push ups, sit ups, yoga, squats. And don’t worry if you can only do a couple of each. Just give yourself time to slowly improve. The important thing is to get into the habit of spending even three or four minutes, every single morning, doing something physical.

It’s tempting to jump in five hundred percent to a new exercise program, but that usually ends in burnout and frustration. By starting slowly you have a much better chance of developing a habit that can stay with you for life. You’ll be surprised how quickly you can do this and lose weight.

How To Exercise So You Will Naturally And Effortlessly Lose Weight And Get The Sexy Body You Deserve

October 25th, 2009

If you want to lose weight, you have no shortage of methods to choose from. Fad diets, protein diets, cabbage diets, you name it, somebody has thought up a diet about it.

There is one thing that most people agree on though, and that is with any diet or weight loss plan, you must include some kind of exercise.

I’ll show you the simple basics you need to know so that whatever diet you choose, you’ll know the best exercises that will accompany them.

One huge misconception people have with exercise is that the exercises themselves aren’t directly responsible for the weight loss. Doing exercises increases your base metabolism, which is in turn is responsible for your consistent and easy weight loss.

When you have very little muscle, and a lot of fat, you will naturally have a low metabolism. This means your body doesn’t need much energy. So if you eat just a little bit too much, it will be stored almost automatically as fat.

Just by adding some lean muscle mass, you gain a foothold into the fight against blubber, and believe it or not, you can lose weight just watching TV with an increased metabolism.

What’s the best way to achieve this? Do the right exercises. Most women are worried about getting big and bulky, but unless you really try, that just won’t happen.

There are two main things to consider when building lean, sexy, muscle mass. One is to do a large number of repetitions in whatever exercise you are doing, with a less amount of weight. The second is to use your own body weight whenever possible. Sit ups, push ups, pull ups, and any yoga that you know how to do is perfect.

It might be slow at first, but before you know it your increase in lean muscle mass will boost your metabolism, and literally melt fat of while you sleep.

What You Need To Avoid When Doing Arm Exercises

October 20th, 2009

It’s all about the details when maximizing the effectiveness of your arm exercises. Why? Because over the long run, small deviations in form can add up and really retard your progress.

Now most women probably aren’t even conscious of the small mistakes they’re making in the gym. After all, showing up is the biggest part of the battle. So perfecting the technique of each arm exercise probably takes second place.

The good news is that you don’t have to perfect every single movement to the point that it’s flawless. All you have to do is watch out for the big deviations.

So without further ado, here are some common errors to avoid when doing arm exercises for women:

1. Using momentum to bring the weight up. You may not even be aware that you’re doing this. Why? Because you probably look at yourself from the front when exercising. Yet the only way to really see if your using momentum is to look at yourself from the side. So whenever you do a curl, double check the side mirrors?

2. Not keeping the shoulders depressed. Always keep your shoulders down and back when exercising. Letting them elevate will activate muscles other than your arms. And if you’re not activating your arms, you’re not getting results.

3. Letting the elbows move around. This is probably the most rampant error of them all. Whether you’re doing biceps curls or triceps extensions, your elbows should always stay locked in place. Once your elbows start moving around, stress is placed on your shoulders and/or back and away from your arms.

4. Not using the heels for support. The most stable anatomical position is with the heels firmly digging into the ground. If you frequently place your weight on the balls of your feet, please stop! You will be able to lift heavier weights and prevent injury by using your heels.

Avoiding the above errors when doing arm exercises will make you better off than most women. Don’t worry about having perfect technique, this will make your arm workouts a nightmare. Instead, do your best to avoid the major errors and keep the flow going.
