Quick Weight Loss Diet Day 5: Chad On Homeopathic HCG

It’s Day 5! Have you been watching (or reading would be the more accurate phrase in this instance) the daily chronicles of Chad’s homeopathic HCG diet? If not you need to catch up. So far he’s surpassing the average daily weight loss usually seen by dieters.

He’s been sticking to the protocol very well. This is one quick weight loss diet that has strict rules. But following them has served Chad very well so far. The first two days were loading days. And then on Days 3 and 4 Chad stuck to the ultra strict 500 calorie diet.

After the first day of actual “dieting” Chad dropped 7.5 pounds in the course of 24 hours. It was amazing. And he couldn’t help but be amazed (and hope that it happens again). But he does note that even if the weight loss is more conservative on a day to day basis from this point forward he’ll be happy.

Day 5 saw Chad weighing in at 235.5 pounds.

He’s down 3 more pounds. Added to yesterday’s weight loss…that’s 10.5 pounds that Chad has dropped. Needless to say Chad is very happy!

The results Chad is seeing are absolutely amazing. His close friends and family are impressed at his success and he feels happy to share the details. He was aware that it was known as an effective quick weight loss diet, but to actually see it happen on his own scale is still a shock.

A few days ago Chad decided to start making a video of his diet progress. This is a popular method of weight loss journaling because people are able to actually have a visual recording to go along with their “weights” that are taken each morning. It’s great motivation.

Chad’s Day 5 went great. He had Stash peppermint tea in the morning and decided it was a good flavor choice. He had a hard time falling asleep the night before, but no longer has a headache. HCG Diet Plateau Breakers

15 tips that will help to break a weight loss plateau when on the hCG diet. The following tips have been found to be very effective during Phase 2 of the hCG diet protocol. Remember that it is very important to consult with your doctor before beginning any low or very low calorie diet.

Constipation is common when on a low calorie diet. Increasing your fluid intake per day to at least 3 quarts or 12 eight-ounce glasses of water will help in assisting with digestion and enable the kidneys to flush out toxins and fat.

Try increasing your protein by half an ounce. You may not be eating enough calories per day. Avoid consuming less than 550 calories daily because your body may go into “starvation mode” and store fat.

The “apple day”. Reduce your fluid intake by 1 quart and eat 6 apples throughout the day. This method typically will rid the body of excess fluids and most patients state they lose about 2 pounds. This method is not recommended on a continuous basis.

Consuming red meat more than 1 or 2 times per week is not recommended, as it has been shown to slow down digestion.

You should not use table salt or other seasoning products that contain any salt other than Sea salt when on the hCG diet. If you are having difficulty finding seasonings that contain Sea salt, make your own. Try combining onion or garlic powder with Sea salt to create an hCG diet friendly seasoning.

With each meal do not eat more than one type of vegetable.

All of the carbohydrate snacks that are allowed such as Melba toast, Grissini bread sticks and Wasa crackers should not be consumed.

Do not eat the same protein, vegetable or fruit more than one time in the same day.

You should not be consuming any protein that contains flavor enhancers or antibiotics, so make sure your protein sources are free of them.

Canned food products may contain flavor enhancers and preservatives which can potentially slow down weight loss.

Using the “steak day” method,bn patients following the hCG diet have lost up to 2 pounds the following day. Physicians do not recommend using the “steak day” method more than 2 times in a 6 week period. This method includes drinking as much fluid as possible throughout the day and then eating a steak for dinner. You are allowed to have an apple and a tomato with dinner on “steak day”.

If you are not having regular bowel movements, a fiber supplement is highly recommended to be taken daily. It is possible to hold 5 or more pounds of stool in the colon. High protein diets most often will cause constipation. If you have discomfort, an over the counter laxative should be taken only as needed. If you have not had a bowel movement in 5 days or longer, please contact your doctor’s office for further instruction.

The star condiment of the hCG diet is Raw Unfiltered Organic Apple Cider Vinegar. It has been proven that Apple Cider Vinegar has similar fat releasing properties to that of grapefruit. If you do not like the taste of Apple Cider Vinegar or suffer from acid reflux, you can take Apple Cider Vinegar capsules that can be found on the shelves of most health food stores.

It is not recommended to exercise strenuously while on the hCG diet. Resistance training builds lean muscle which weighs more than fat, thereby causing inaccurate weight loss results. Low impact cardiovascular exercise such as walking on a treadmill for 30 minutes or swimming is highly recommended. Toning lean muscle is better suited to be utilized in Phases 3 and 4 of the hCG diet.

The importance of adequate sleep and weight loss cannot be emphasized enough. Patients that are not getting seven to eight hours of uninterrupted sleep a night have reported little to no weight loss the following day.

In conclusion, you should keep in mind that the 16 plateau breaking tips are best used when you are following Phase 2 of the hCG diet protocol. Also, it is important to remember that not all of the aforementioned tips are for daily use, as some may only be used intermittently.
